Barn Dance Caller
for Barn Dances, Hoedown and Ceilidh Dances
Barn Dance
This can mean anything from an American style barn dance to
a British style mix of everything. It is the generic British term for
a country dance occasion that isn't either purely Scottish, Irish or
American. Very popular at weddings, corporate functions,
village dances and parties as a general fun dance.
Hoedown
This is usually a barn dance with an American theme, allowing
the participants the opportunity to get dressed up in
cowboy hats and check shirts etc. Great fun and becoming more and more
popular. Devil's Fire are a perfect choice for these events.

Ceilidh
This is a dance of Scottish or Irish descent. Originally meaning a gathering,
where people would collect to sing, dance, tell stories, recite poems
- just about everything. Now it means a dance with a Scottish or Irish
Flavour.
